Amara Rhiannon Lambacher
Our expected arrival came today at 12:22pm. She is 8lb 12oz, 22 inches long and both mother and baby are doing well. Click on the picture at the right for more pictures. Videos here and here.
Updated 2007-02-19 6:50am: Lack of sleep and daddy being a dork means that I spelled her middle name wrong. It’s Rhiannon, not Rheanon. Getting the spelling right means you can find out about Rhiannon from Welsh mythology.

Wow! What a sweetheart. Chris, I was happy that at least I was there to give you Sarah’s cell number and of course I did hear all the details as soon as they got home. (notice all the 12s and 22s, I think they will be her lucky numbers!).
Amara is a beuatiful baby. You two must be in Mommy and Daddy heaven right now. Kate, I hope you are feeling as well as possible under the circumstances. Rand and I send our congratulations to you both. You did good!!!!!

What a beautiful baby girl!! We are so happy for the three of you. She looks wonderfully kissable. We are really looking forward to meeting Amara Rhiannon aswell. Has there been a prearranged marriage set up with young Xavier Spano? Just curious.
For Kate and Chris, rest when you can, my friends. Enjoy the moments you have with her… the quiet, the noisy, the teenage years. You both have a very new and wonderous love in your lives and we are so happy that you get to join that parent/kid club.
She’s a precious angel. All our love and so glad to hear that everyone is well.
Love Christina and Christopher xoxo

Hi Again Chris and Kate and Amara
Sorry I am so late in putting my congratulations in your memory book but you know that you are all the “Loves” of my life. I left Bradenton at 3:45 AM this morning just to be home to see you as soon as possible.
Amara is beautiful and sounds healthy if her movie debut is any indication. All that black curly hair will be so cute with all of the “pink” things I have for her…you can’t deny me as a grandmother the right to dress up my first baby girl…can you?
Let me know when it is my turn to come and be her slave…I can’t wait. As you know I am in climate shock right now, so please arrange for someone to turn up the heat in Kanata in time for Amara to come home from the hospital and her grandmothers to come and worship her.
Kate, I hope your recovery is swift and painless. I am so sorry you had to have a C-Section in the end. Good things do however, come from C-Sections…I got Chris and you got Amara….now we all have Amara.
Love, Kisses and Hugs

Dear Kate and Chris – Everyone at CCIL and CIH was so excited to hear about the arrival of Amara Rhiannon (what a beautiful name). Grandma hardly had time to take her coat off before we were buzzing around the computer to get a look. It brought tears to our eyes when we gazed upon her beautiful healthy face. I hope Kate, you start to feel better and stronger soon . I know you have a special hubbyand daddy at your side who will take care of his little women. Chris try and get some shut eye when you can too. Bless you all. I’m looking forward to cradlying the baby of a dear sweet toddler, I cuddled so many years age at Northwest Communicare Day Care. We love the pictures, so send as many as possible.
Love Eleanor Rosewell and family.

Congratulations Chris and Kate. What a beautiful little baby you made! Black curley hair is part of Prevost babies. Don and Wanda both born with black curley hair too. I pray God will bless Amara all her life and give wisdom to her parents to raise her up to be a beautiful woman.

Hello Kate and Chris,
Amara is a beauty. I cried when I saw her. We are all very proud here at CIH/CCIH, and are rapidly spreading the news!
There will be many things you will do in your lives, but you will find nothing quite compares with the miracle you have just created!
Enjoy the daily thrill of experiencing life through Amara’s eyes, maintain a good sense of humour, and above all…….get some sleep!
Say hi to Grandma for us!
Love,
Beth and Family
