I've been able to successfully create a website on Windows Vista 64-bit IIS connected to a 32-bit application pool... and it works great. One thing I found I had to have IIS 6 WMI compatibility installed.

I have found that the win32trace module isn't working for me as described. I'm investigating now to see if I can't track down the issue.
