What’s Chris Doing?

I am Chris Lambacher. Welcome to my blog.

I am the co-owner of KCL Custom Software and spend most of my work time programming. Our main focus at the moment is web application development. In the past I have worked on such things as embedded development, Service Oriented Architechtures (SOA) and desktop GUI applications. I have a Masters in Computer Science from McMaster University and did my thesis on a pluggable architecture for medical image processing.

I am interested in photography. I got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D) at the beginning of 2005 and have improved a lot since then. You can check out my best pictures on my pictures for family and friend in my Gallery site.

My wife and business partner, Kate, and I live in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and had our first child, Amara Rhiannon on February 18, 2007. I have known Kate since my second year of university. We didn’t get together until my second year of grad school, 6 years later. We were really good friends before that. Many of the people were surprised by our getting married and many were not.
