What’s Chris Doing?

I am Chris Lambacher. Welcome to my blog.

I am a programmer working for the Nortel’s Advanced Technolgy Research group. Currently I am working on Service Oriented Architechtures and how they releate to the network and management. I use Python for my work whenever possible as it is my language of choice.

I interested in photography. I got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D) almost a year ago and have improved a lot since then. You can check out my best pictures on my pictures for family and friend in my Gallery site.

My wife Kate and I live in Ottawa and had our first child, Amara Rhiannon on February 18, 2007. I have known Kate since my second year of university. We didn’t get together until my second year of grad school, 6 years later. We were really good friends before that. Many of the people were surprised by our getting married and many were not.
